Root Monthly Sound Bath

The Monthly Sound Bath at Root is a recurring group experience at Root Center for Yoga & Sacred Studies rooted in the yogic tradition of Nāda Yoga - sometimes referred to as the Yoga of Sacred Sound. Guided by John and Geoffrey, these immersive gatherings explore deep listening as a doorway into presence, remembrance, and the direct experience of wholeness.

Within this tradition, sound is understood as neither noise nor merely something we hear, but as a vehicle through which awareness of both the outer world and the subtle dimensions of inner experience can be cultivated. The Sanskrit term nāda may be understood as sound, tone, or resonance, and through the practice of Nāda Yoga, listening itself becomes an opportunity for cultivating awareness.
